雖然歷經團員不斷的更迭，卻自始至終仍保持原始之聲，並不斷嘗試多樣金屬面貌，加寬 Motorhead 的風格走向。靈魂人物 Lemmy Kilmister，不僅是擔任 Motorhead 主唱和貝斯手，更橫跨至電視、電影領域，還令人吃驚的把玩起 DJ。至今團員已經更替到第 11 代，除了 Lemmy 之外，還有吉他手 Phil Campbell 以及鼓手 Mikkey Dee 等構成簡單三人組合。

名為【Iron Fist】的大碟，是 Motorhead 於 1982 年發行的第五張錄音室作品，登記英國金榜第六名席位，製作人則是換上 Will Reid Dick (Thin Lizzy、The Runaways、Saxon) 與吉他手 Edward Clarke 聯手操盤，紛紛摘取 AMG + 滾石雜誌四顆星高評。從 “Iron Fist”、“Sex & Outrage”、“(Don't Let 'Em) Grind Ya Down” 到 “Loser”，都是膾炙人口的佳作，此版多加 15 首 B-Side、現場以及經典舊作回顧，提供樂迷完整收藏。
